Watching the World Go By

Alright, I finally got around to posting some pictures. Rayna turned 5 months on the 26th, so hopefully sometime this week I'll take some real 5 month pictures. We discovered that she likes to stare out the window. I think she likes watching the cars drive by.
You can tell from the last picture that she still has a bald spot in the back. She's still rockin' the baby mullet too (but you can't really see it here).

Four Months

Here are Rayna's 4 month pictues. She's actually been 4 months for 2 weeks, I just haven't gotten around to posting pictures. In the top two she's wearing her weenie dog outfit in honor of Riley (thanks to Katy and her parents). In the bottom two she's declaring her love for Nana and Padron. As you can see, I'm still having trouble controlling her fuzzy, wild hair. Oh well, at least she has hair. At her 4 month appointment she weighed just over 13 pounds. I was surprised, I thought she would weigh more than that. But she's right in the 50th percentile.

Well, there's been alot going on here. Nothing that's big news to anyone else, but in our little world it is. First of all Rayna has started on solids. She's really funny to watch eat and so far she likes everything except peas-- they made her really mad. It's nice that I don't have to nurse quite so much anymore.

I'm starting back to work on the 10th. I'm only working 3 days this month and I'm really excited. This will be my first time to leave Rayna but I think John can handle it. I wasn't sure it was going to work out because she wouldn't take a bottle but now that she's eating solids it should be ok.
John and I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary yesterday. On the one hand I can't believe it's been that long, but on the other hand it feels like we've just always been married. We didn't do much though, since we still can't leave Rayna with a sitter. I'm feel very blessed to be married to such a great man who is also such a good dad.

For all of you who are wondering, no, we still don't know where we are moving to yet. I'm not sure when we will know, hopefully soon. And finally, for the news I'm most excited about. Bret and Amber found out they're having a girl. So
Rayna will have girl cousin to play with who will only be about 9 months younger than her. I'm excited to have another little girl in the family for me to buy for.
